God is in the slums, in the cardboard boxes where the poor play house… God is in the silence of a mother who has infected her child with a virus that will end both their lives… God is in the cries heard under the rubble of war… God is in the debris of wasted opportunity and lives, and God is with us if we are with them.

Pink

I never had any brothers growing up. However, I feel blessed to have so many now. Bill Pink and I have been true brothers for a long time. The time we spent as a family together in Portland, OR was wonderful. He is and will always be known as Uncle Bill by my kids. It's tough to have him living in Oklahoma and not being able to spend time with him and his family.

I miss the friday night dinners out, the long trips to tower records, going to WWF wrestling matches, (we only went to one), playing the "gotcha" game and watching classic cowboy movies... HaRumph! HaRumph! I think we were separated at birth.

We both share the same first name... I know, I know, some of you are a bit confused... that's ok.
A store was named after us... Thomas Pink
We both bought Honda's the same day.
Like twins misplaced at birth alright... he even purchased a new DSLR. A Canon.

Need I say more?

Years go by and now he's blessed with a wonderful wife and beautiful little girl and a great step-son. He's a man of faith. It's good to have him on my side.

peace.
